At SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, we believe that education is the foundation for opportunity and independence. Every child has the right to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Our Education Programme supports children and young people from early childhood through adolescence, helping them build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for a better future.Through our Early Childhood Care and Education (ECD) centres, we prepare children for school by nurturing curiosity, creativity, and social development in a safe and stimulating environment. For school-age children, we ensure access to primary and secondary education, helping them stay in school and perform well academically. As young people approach adulthood, we equip them with practical and vocational training through the Employability and Entrepreneurship Training (EET) initiative, enabling them to find decent work or start small businesses. Additionally, we invest in the training of child and youth care practitioners to strengthen the quality of care and education within and beyond SOS programmes.By ensuring inclusive, continuous learning opportunities, the Education Programme empowers children and youth to become self-reliant, responsible, and active contributors to society.
