The Family Strengthening Programme of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh works to ensure that no child grows up alone. We support vulnerable families and communities so that children can remain with their biological parents and grow up in safe, caring environments.

Our goal is to prevent child–family separation by addressing the root causes of vulnerability, such as poverty, illness, and lack of education. Through the FSP, we help parents and caregivers build long-term resilience by providing livelihood opportunities, vocational training, parenting guidance, access to healthcare, and educational support.

We focus on strengthening families from within. When caregivers become financially independent and emotionally confident, they are better equipped to provide their children with love, dignity, and stability.
