Every child has the right to care, protection, and the opportunity to grow up in a supportive family environment that nurtures their well-being and full potential. SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, together with its partners, works to defend and promote children’s rights at global, national, and community levels, ensuring that every child’s voice is heard and valued.
Our advocacy efforts focus on influencing public policy and practice, strengthening organisational capacity, and building knowledge to support improved laws and care systems for children. We also engage in communication campaigns, media engagement, networking, partnership building, and collective advocacy to create sustainable social change.
Children and young people are at the centre of our advocacy work. Their meaningful participation helps policymakers understand the realities they face, resulting in programmes and policies that truly reflect their needs. By empowering children and youth to speak up for their rights, SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh fosters inclusion, accountability, and shared responsibility for child protection and well-being.
