Internship Opportunity

SOS Children’s Villages International is a private, non-political, and non-denominational child welfare organization dedicated to providing care and support to children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it, and who are deprived of a nurturing family environment.

The organization is currently operating in more than 130 countries and territories worldwide. In Bangladesh, SOS Children’s Villages has been working continuously since 1972, implementing a wide range of child-focused development and care programmes.


Applications are invited for the following position:

Position: Intern- Donor Service (01)

Location of job: National Office, Dhaka

Department: Fund Development & Communications

Job Nature: Paid Internship (06 months)  

Key Responsibilities Tele-Calling
• Maintain regular communication with individual donors through emails, letters, reports, and acknowledgements.
• Ensure timely issuance of donation receipts, thank-you letters, and donor updates.
• Respond promptly and professionally to donor inquiries, requests, and complaints.
Database & Records Management
• Maintain and update donor information accurately in the donor management system.
• Ensure proper documentation of donations, pledges, and donor correspondence.
• Support data analysis and reporting related to donor contributions and trends.
Reporting & Communication
• Coordinate the preparation and dissemination of donor reports, child updates, and impact stories.
• Ensure donor communications comply with organizational branding, data protection, and accountability standards.
Support to Fundraising Activities
• Assist in planning and implementing fundraising campaigns and donor engagement events.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure donor requirements and commitments are fulfilled.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor agreements, and ethical fundraising standards.
• Support audits and internal reviews related to donor services and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bangla.
• Integrity, accountability, and respect for diversity.
• Strong teamwork and service-oriented mindset.
Salary: BDT 10,000/ Month
